Peggy Sue Sayles
Peggy Sue Sayles, 84, of Meriden, KS passed away Monday, April 2 at her home. She was born January 26,1934 in rural Valley Falls, KS., the daughter of Edward E. and Susie K Binkley Frommer. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1951 and attended Kansas State University, receiving a teaching certificate. She married Edward J. “Jerry” Sayles on August 15, 1954 in Topeka, KS. Survivors include three sons, Curt (Kerry) Sayles, Seibert, CO., Scott (Michele) Sayles, Meriden, KS., Frank (Rhonda) Sayles, Meriden, KS, a daughter Debra (Randall) Tosh, Olathe, KS, a sister, Bonnie Barrett, Manhattan, KS, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband July 26,2007 and an infant son in 1964. Funeral Services will be 10:00AM Saturday, April 7,2018 at the Meriden Community Church. Burial will be at the Meriden Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday Evening 6:00-8:00PM at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Jefferson County Hospice or to the Meriden Community Church and sent in care of the Barnett Family Funeral Home PO Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS 66066.
