Golden Anniversary For Holaday Couple
Louis and Joann Holaday, 305 Wheatridge, Abilene, will celebrate their 50lh wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in St. Andrew’s Parish Hall in Abilene. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests that no gifts be presented.

Hosts for the occasion are their children and spouses.: Kathy and Joe North, Raeford, NC; Stephen “Doc” and Alicia Holaday, Abilene; Nancy and Jim Duffy, Hays; Bruce and Maria Holaday, Cincinnati, OH; Bradley and Beth Holaday, Overland Park; Dawn and Shawn Rottinghaus, Topeka. The couple has 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Louis Holaday and Joann Hailing were married June 7, 1955, at St. Benedict’s Church in Bendena, KS.

Louis served as principal of Rossville High School from 1965 to 1967. From 1967 to 1971, he was Superintendent of Kaw Valley Unified School [District. Missing rest]
