Obituary- Love, Mary

Mary Wanda Love spread her wings and left this earth on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1944, in Beaumont, Texas, to Betty and Jason (Red) Peery.

She is survived by her husband, George Love of St. Marys; daughter Anita (Stubbs) Lamberson of Ross-ville; two brothers, Mack Peery of Arizona and James Peery of Washington; her aunt Phyllis Marney; four grandchildren, Adam Rodenbaugh, David Rodenbaugh, Tom Rodenbaugh and Sarah Jones; and three loving great-grandchildren, along with many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and older brother Floyd Peery.

Wanda married Carl Stubbs and they had one perfect child, Anita. Later she married her soul mate George and they had 46 happy years together, filled with dancing, camping, bowling and other fun activi-ties. She treasured her family and left us with wonderful memories of a life too short but filled with laughter.

There will be a celebration of Wanda's life held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 8 at Piper Fu-neral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, KS 66536.

In lieu of flowers, the fami-ly requests donations to Great Lakes Hospice, 3715 S.W. 29th St., Suite 100, Topeka, KS 66614.
