Mrs. Susie Cowan, passed away this Thursday morning, at her home northeast of Rossville, follow¬ing an illness, that has confined her to her home for several month
Funeral services will be held in Ross¬ville, Saturday morning at 9 o’clock, from the Catholic church.

MRS. S. E. COWAN
Mrs. S. E. Cowan, 76, who died at her home northeast of Rossville, last Thursday, June 20, was born in Uniontown, Ky., November 21, 1858, and came to Kansas in 1911, first living near Delia, and three years ago moved to the Rossville community.
She is survived by seven children, a daughter, Mrs. Lucretia Dowling, of the home address, and six sons, J. N. Cowan, 325 West Tenth avenue, Topeka; 0. J. Cowan, of Perry; Louis, Lloyd and John Cowan of Delia, and Harold Cowan of the home address; also by eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Satur¬day morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Rossville Catholic church Burial was in the St. Marys cemetery.
