Obituary- McGuire, John H. 2

The Bodies Recovered.
The dead bodies of John McGuire and Mack McAffee were found this week in the water on the island southwest of town near the capsized boat. McAffee's body was found Monday and was immediately prepared and buried in the Rossville cemetery. It was not until Wednesday afternoon that McGuire's corpse was found. Both bodies were not far from where the overturned boat was discovered. The remains of John McGuire were buried in the city cemetery yesterday morning. The burial service was conducted at the grave by Rev. Clyde L. Kuhn of the M.E. Church.

John McGuire was about sixty years of age and leaves a wife, several children and four brothers, Jim, Henry, Robert and William Mack McAffee was an old colored gentleman well known to everyone in this vicinity.
