Obituary- Pederson, Christopher

C.W. Peterson [sic Pederson]
Christopher W. Peterson was born at Almena, Kan., March 1st 1884; was married to Miss Grace Parr of this city Dec. 28th, 1903, who survives him, and died Feb. 8th 1911 at Lincoln Nebr., near where the injury occurred which resulted in his death.

Mr. Peterson was lineman on the R.I. road and used a small car to carry him and his tools needed in repairing the wires and batteries at the stations and on the fateful day was attending his duties when he was struck by a train which he did not see until too late and was injured so seriously that he lived but a few days. The remains were brought here for burial, the funeral being held Sunday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church conducted by the A.O.U.W., of which he was a honored member. The bereaved family have the sympathy of numerous friends in their hour of trouble.
