Obituary- Martin, Edith 2

Mrs. Edith Martin
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Ross¬ville for Mrs. Edith I. Martin, 86, Ross¬ville, who died Friday night in a Tope¬ka hospital where she was readmitted Thursday. She suffered a cerebral he-morrhage.
She was born May 27, 1889, at Shaw¬nee, Okla., and lived in the Rossville community about 74 years. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Rossville.
She was married to Henry M. Marlin Dec. 22, 1909. He died July 4, 1941. A son, Paul I. Martin, died Nov. 27, 1973.
Survivors include three sons, Ralph J. Martin, Rossville, Reid Martin, 2322 Clay, and Charles Martin, Silver Lake; and six daughters, Mrs. Olive Baird, Neosho, Mo., Mrs. Edna DeVader, Hol¬ton, Mrs. Gladys Immenschuh, Dodge City, Mrs. Doris Magee, Wakarusa, Mrs. Betty J. Gibson, 1221 Clay, and Mrs. Catherine DeVader, Delia.
Also surviving are a brother, Ray¬mond Burns, Holton; a sister, Mrs. Viola Martin, Rossville; 65 grandchil¬dren, 52 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Rossville.
