Obituary- Crow, Calvin 2
Calvin D Crow
Carbondale – Calvin D. Crow, 66, Carbondale, died Wednesday, Jan 7, 1998, at a North Kansas City, MO. Hospital.
Mr. Crow farmed and had sold McNess Feeds and Mooreman Feeds. He had been a salesman for a John Deere implement dealership. He served in the Army for three years.
He was born Dec. 22, 1931, near Dover, the son of Marion Lawrence and Lola G. Schlesser Crow. He was graduated from Maple Hill High School in 1949. He had lived in Rossville and Topeka before moving to Osage City in 1970. He had lived in Carbondale the past four years. Mr. Crow was a member of Moose Lodge No. 555 in Topeka.
He was married to Billie J. Waetzig on Dec. 30, 1983, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Donnola Fairbanks, Delia, Debra Siebring, Osage City, and Denise Hersh, Topeka; two stepdaughters, Frances Boudreau and Beth Boudreau, both of Topeka; a son, Doug Crow, Emporia, 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Crable Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Burial will be in Carbondale Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel where they will receive friends after 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Salvation Army and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
