Obituary- Bailey, Abbie

Abbie Frances, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Bailey, was born April 13, 1917, and died in St. Francis hospital, Topeka, last Sunday at the age of 5 months and 13 days. On Sept. 21, the child was taken with interception and Dr. Miller of Rossville was called and advised the child be taken to a hospital. This was done Sunday morning and Dr. Bowen operated at once, but it was of no avail and the child died six hours later. The funeral was held at Walnut Hill church Tuesday, the 25th, the service conducted by Rev. M.H. Eells. His text was, "Wherefore, comfort one another with these words," I Thes. 4:18.
