Mrs. Bettie Curran

MAYETTA -Mrs. Bettie Curran, 91, Mayetta, died Wednesday at an Onaga hospital.

She was born Sept. 12, 1888, at Vesta, Neb., the daughter of William L. and Martha Crouse Adams.

Mrs. Curran lived in the Mayetta community since moving from Delia and Hoyt communities in 1945.

She was married to John C. Curran June 4, 1921 He died Jan 21, 1967.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty Buehler, Mayetta; two sons, William R. Curran. Holton, and John F. Curran, Mayetta, two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Armagost, Kansas City, and Mrs. Griffie Andrick, Rossville; two brothers, Walter Adams, Rossville, and Irvin Adams, Holton; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial will be in Delia U.B. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Onaga Community Hospital, Onaga, 66521.
