Obituary- Dunagan, Ellen

Mrs. Ellen Dunagan
Mrs. Ellen Dunagan, 85, rural Ma¬ple Hill, died Thursday, July 23, 1987, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Nov. 26, 1901, near Dover, the daughter of Patrick and Catherine Negent Rafferty. She spent her life in the Dover communi¬ty.
Mrs. Dunagan was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church at Eskridge.
She was married to Edward Duna¬gan April 2, 1929, at Rossville. He died in 1955.
Survivors include three sons, Ed¬ward Dunagan, Jerome Dunagan and William Dunagan, all of Maple Hill; a sister, Mrs. Theresa Cheuvront, Chicago, Ill.; a brother. Edward Rafferty, St. Marys; and four grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Eskridge. Burial will be in Eskridge Cemetery. Mrs. Dunagan will lie in state from noon until 8 p.m. Sunday at Callahan Fu¬neral Home in Eskridge and an hour before service time Monday at the church. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
