Mrs. Stacia Ann Eakin
DELIA — Mrs. Stacia Ann Eakin, 88, Delia, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Dec. 19, 1897, on a farm in the High Prairie community
north of Delia, the daughter of Henry and Matilda Eiserman McClain.
Mrs. Eakin was a member of De¬lia Presbyterian Church.
She was married to Jesse Linsacum in November 1916. He died in March 1923. She was married to George Eakin Feb. 17, 1925, at Law¬rence. He survives.
Other survivors include a daugh¬ter, Mrs. Vinita Linsacum Stauffer,
Holton; three sisters, Mrs. Nona Hurla, Hollister, Mo., Mrs. Ruth Whit-tington, Eudora, and Myrnah McClain, Glendale, Calif.; two brothers, Sam McClain, Soldier, and Fred McClain, Bonner Springs; four grandchildren; nine great-grand¬children; and three great-great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Delia Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Delia Cemetery. Mrs. Eak-in will lie in state an hour before service time at the church. Family visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delia Presbyterian Church in care of Vernadell Matha [sic], Delia, 66418.
