Florence Eckert

Miss Florence Eckert, popular and efficient county superintendent of Shawnee County schools for the past 12 years, and widely known in Kansas educational circles, passed away Monday morning in a Topeka hospital following an illness of several months.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 from the Lowman Memorial Church. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
