Obituary- Elliott, Unknown

About fifteen years ago a family named Elliot camped near the mouth of Cross Creek for a time. They were in hard circumstances and along in March of 1908 or 1909 the mother died leaving three young children. Sympathetic people of Rossville assisted the family in every way possible and the children were eventually placed in a children's home. The mother was buried here. These brief details are published to see if there is anyone who could help in locating the grave of the mother at the cemetery. One of the children, a daughter, was here Sunday seeking information. She has been raised in a good home in Highland Park and learned that her mother is buried here and desires to take care of the grave. Rev. Nelson conducted the funeral of the mother.
