Obituary- Armell, Gladys

Gladys E. Armell
Mrs. Gladys E. Armell, 79, Rossville, formerly of Winnebago, Nebr., died Tuesday, November 27, 1990, at Rossville Valley Manor.
She was born November 7, 1911, at Wittenberg, Wisc., the daughter of Homer and Alice Sine Humphrey. After high school, she completed two years of college. She lived in Rossville Valley Manor the past four years and previously lived in Winnebago.
Mrs. Armell was a member of the Winnebago Indian tribe in Nebraska and Native American Church of North America.
Her husband, Moses Armell, died April 8, 1957.
Survivors include three daugh¬ters, Lucille O'Bennick, Delia, and Thresa Armell and Pearl Armell, both of Winnebago, Nebr.; two sons, Edward White¬water and Louis Armell, both of Winnebago; a sister, Lucy Mat- sushige, Tempe, Ariz.; 11 grand-children; and two great-grandchil-dren.
Services were Thursday eve¬ning at the Theresa Armell residence in Winnebago, Nebr. Burial was Friday afternoon in Winnebago Indian Cemetery.
Mercer Funeral Home in Holton was in charge of Kansas arrangements. Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa, Iowa, was in charge of Nebraska arrangements.
