Obituary- Enos, Allen

Allen Mason Enos
PERRY — Allen Mason Enos, 88, Perry, died Tuesday, March 28, 1995, at his home.
Mr. Enos farmed and had worked for the Gas Service Co. before he retired in 1971.
He was born April 26, 1906, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Zimri Allen and Jessie Belle Mason Enos. He was reared in Rossville and had lived in Perry for 75 years.
He was married to Marjorie V. Newell on Aug. 7, 1932, at Topeka. She sur¬vives.
Other survivors include three daugh¬ters, Emily Pechefsky, Patchogue, N.Y., Virginia Richards, Perry, and Sue Layton, Fort Worth, Texas; four sons, Paul Enos, Lawrence, Zim Enos, Mer¬ced, Calif., Newell Enos, Springfield, Va., and Randall Enos, Middletown, N.Y.; and 13 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Newman. Mr. En¬os will lie in state after 1 p.m. Friday at Parker-Price Mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, P.O. Box 324, Oskaloosa, 66066.
