Allen Ent
Alien George Ent, 87, Topeka, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Ent worked as a farm hand In the Rossville area.
He was born June 19, 1915, in Hoyt, the son of Elmer K. and Elizabeth Guffey Ent. He was raised in the Hoyt area.
Mr. Ent was involved in the Rossville Senior Citizen Center. He attended Rossville United Methodist Church.
He married Thelma Marie Bell on March 22,
1941, in Eskridge. She died on Jan. 30, 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Anna Macha, Delia, and Mary Roach, Hollywood, Calif.; a son, William Ent, Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters, Irene Tibbs, Topeka, and Thelma Cummings, Hoyt; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Delia Cemetery in Delia. Mr. Ent will lie in state after 3 p.m. Sunday at Parker-Price Mortuary, where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
