Robert Ford Entsminger
Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Robert Ford Entsminger, 62, 2416 Crest Drive. He died Saturday, March 29, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Entsminger was a supervisor for Josten’s Printing and Publishing Co.
He was born Oct. 29, 1923, at To¬peka, the son of Carl and Fern Ford Entsminger. He lived at Wichita 16 years before he returned to the To¬peka area in 1942.
He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean con¬flict.
Mr. Entsminger was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council No. 534.
He was married to Betty Cowan Dec. 16, 1946, in Topeka She sur¬vives.
Other survivors include a son, Chad Entsminger, Topeka; a daugh¬ter, Megan Entsminger, at home; stepparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted George, Silver Lake; a sister, Betty June Entsminger, Wichita; a step¬brother, Bill Leggett, Strasburg, Colo.; and a stepsister, Mrs. Janet Martinek, Silver Lake.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Mr. Ents¬minger will lie, in state from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Brennan Funeral Home, where a parish prayer ser¬vice will be at 7 p.m. today.
