Obituary- Day, Jewell 2

Jewell Day
Mrs. Jewell L. Day, 71, 4813 Topeka Ave., died Monday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted Jan. 10. She had been a patient in Topeka hospitals many times the past several years. She had previously undergone abdominal surgery and heart surgery.
She was born July 22, 1906, at West Liberty, Ky., and lived in Kansas since 1610. She lived m the Berryton com¬munity several years ago and later at Harveyville before she moved to Tope¬ka.
She was married to Howard Day May 11, 1963. He died April 8, 1972.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ernestine Humphrey, 5516 W. 24th, and Mrs. Regina Sue Terry, 708 Cambridge; two sons, Bobby Tschantz, Ogden, and Donald Tschantz, Topeka; two brothers, William Farley, Ross¬ville, and Lawrence Farley, Alta Vista; 19 grandchildren and four great-grand¬children.
Parker-Price Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
