C. Ronald Dayton
ROSSVILLE — Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rossville United Methodist Church for C. Ronald Dayton, 48, Placentia, Calif., former¬ly of Topeka. He died Friday, July 1 at his home. Autopsy results are pending at Orange County Coroner's Office, Santo Ana, Calif.
He was born Aug. 11, 1934, in Pennsylvania, the son of Charles D. and Sophia Garretson Dayton. He came to Topeka in 1945 and was graduated from Topeka High School in 1952. He later was graduated from Washburn University in Topeka in 1959.
Mr. Dayton was president of Unimetric Corp., Fullerton, Calif. He served three years in the Marine Corps.
He was married to Donna Sederberg Dec. 4, 1954, in California. She survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Cheryl Baldreas and Mrs. Laurel Steigerwald, both of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Pamela Meier, Ontario, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Brooks and Mrs. Kathy Kovar both of Rossville; three brothers, John Dayton, Overland Park, Dan Dayton Wichita, and Rick Dayton, Topeka; and a grandson.
Cremation is planned and inurnment is pending. Melrose Abbey, Anaheim, Calif., is in charge of arrangements.
