Obituary- Dean, Alma

Services are pending at Parker Mortuary for Mrs. Alma C. Dean, 95, Rossville, who died Wednesday evening in a Topeka hospital after an illness of several months.
She was born Dec. 22, 1877, in Illinois, and had been a resident of Rossville most of her life. Her husband, Joseph Dean, died in 1932. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Thomas J. Dean, in 1956, and Joseph Dean, in 1971.
Survivors include two sons, Delbert Dean, 2036 Colorado, and Charles Dean, Silver Lake; four daughters, Mrs. Lyda Berkey, Rossville, Mrs. Emma Waldrip, Hanford, Ca., Mrs. Kathryn Maddox, 940 N. Michigan, Topeka, and Mrs. Edna Bailey, Silver Lake; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rossville Presbyterian Church.
