Nancy J. DeCaro
WILLARD - Nancy J. DeCaro, 75, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
She was born September 19, 1936 at Connellsville, PA, the daughter of Earl R. and Helen M. Leighty.
Nancy lived most of her life in Florida, moving to the Willard community this past fall. Mrs. DeCaro was a member of Post No. 77 of the American Legion Auxiliary and a proud member of the Red Hat Society, both in Florida.
She was married to Norman R. DeCaro. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles T. DeCaro, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise DeCaro (Rocky Bratcher), Willard, and grandchildren, Charles T. DeCaro, Jr., J.P. Moore, III, Diana Moore, Justin Moore and Danielle Moore; and her companion, Larry McGill.
Mrs. DeCaro was cremated. Memorial services will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nancy J. DeCaro Memorial Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 W. Maple St, St. Marys, KS. 66536. Online condolences may be sent to www.piperfuneralhome.com.
