Fern Denton Dies In Topeka Hospital
Services for Mrs. Fern Ada Denton, 61, of Burlingame, were at 2 p.m. Monday in Burlingame Federated Church with burial in the cemetery there.

Mrs. Denton, a resident of Burlingame since 1929, died Thursday morning in a Topeka hospital.

A retired telephone operator, Mrs. Denton was a member of El Bethel Church in Burlingame.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Denton, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Norma Lee Bickford, Berryville, Ark., Mrs. Petty Lou Saffle, Wichita, Mrs. Wanda Jean Tweetmeyer, Saginaw, Mich., and Mrs. Shirley Ann Alley, Burlingame; a son, Dean Denton, with the U.S. Navy; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hezakaiah Prater of Rossville; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Montgomery, San Bernadino, Calif., Mrs. Gladys Skidmore, Dalhart, Tex.; six brothers, Russell Prater, Spokane, Wash., Roy Prater, Alamogordo, N.M., and Earl, Omer, Ralph and Ray Prater, all of Rossville.
