Obituary- Denton, Jess

DEAD FROM LOCKJAW
Jess Harold Denton, the little five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Denton of this city, died Tuesday at one of the Topeka hospitals where he was taken the same day to be treated for lockjaw which had set in Monday evening. The little fellow had run a nail in his foot last Thursday. The body was brought to Rossville yesterday and the funeral was held at the Catholic church at 10 o’clock this morning. Interment was made in the Rossville cemetery.


Miss Nettie Hartman of Topeka attended the funeral of the Denton child held here this morning.
