Obituary- Dohrman, Raphael 2

RAPHAEL J. DOHRMAN
Raphael J. “Ray" Dohrman, 69, Newton, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 1984, at a Halstead hospital.
Mr. Dohrman was a livestock order buyer at Newton for the past 18 years. He previously owned and operated Mr. D’s Drive-in and Restaurant in St. Marys.
He was born Aug. 25, 1915, at St. Marys, the son of John and Mary Brunin Dohrman.
Mr. Dohrman was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at Newton.
He was married to Helen Hanrahan on Feb. 5, 1940, at Delia. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Koch, Newton; eight sisters, Mrs. Germaine Durow and Mrs. Catherine Reilly, both of Topeka, Mrs. Regina “Sally” Simecka, Mrs. Margaret Tomson and Mrs. Delores Floersch, all of Delia, Mrs. Mary Jones, Salina, and Mrs. Veronica Dary and Mrs. Monica McKinley, both of Kansas City, Ks.; two brothers, Lee Dohrman and Paul Dohrman, both of St. Marys; four grandchildren; and two great-grand-children.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Newton. Burial was in Restlawn Garden of Memory at Newton. Memorial con¬tributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church or Harvey County Chapter of American Heart Association in care of Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.
