Obituary- Dolezilek, Mary
MRS. FRANK DOLEZILEK
Mary Mynar was born in Prlov, Moravia, on Nov. 1, 1863. She departed from this world Dec. 24, 1939 at the age of 76 years, one month, and 24 days. She migrated to America in 1890 coming straight to Rossville and has spent 50 years in the same community. She was united in marriage to Frank Dolezilek, Feb. 1, 1892. To this union seven children were born. Her eldest child, an infant son, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, five daughters and one son, and 17 grand children: Frank Dolezilek of the home; Mrs. May Matyak, Rossville; Mrs, Frances Koci, Elmont; Mrs. Antonie Tibbs, Topeka; Mrs. Anna Strimple, Rossville; Mrs. Lydia Dolezilek, St. Marys and one sister in Europe; Mrs. Tressie Stalmach, age 83.
Mrs. Dolezilek lived and raised her family on the same farm to which she and her husband moved as soon as they were married. She has been an invalid for more than 25 years—a total invalid for 8 years.
She has always been happy looking at the bright side of life.
She found plenty of time between her aches and pains to talk and smile with her friends and relatives A lover of children she enjoyed her family very much. She has been a faithful wife and a wonderful mother.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Czech Presbyterian church near Delia, with Rev. Bruce Davis officiating.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Ruth Hesse and Mrs. Mildred Berry with Miss Lulu Rachel Dannefer at the piano.
Fall bearers were grandsons and nephews including, Joe Matyak, Albert Hromoda, Frank Matyak John Kratina, Paul Matyak and Frank Koci.
Burial in Czech cemetery.
