Mrs. Nina A. Drebes
HOLTON — Mrs. Nina Alice Drebes, 73, Holton, died Friday at a Holton hos¬pital.
She was born May 19, 1907 at Glen Elder, the daughter of William and Lil¬lian F. Marcey Ramsey. She lived in Holton for 20 years.
She was married to Hans James Jor¬genson, July 2, 1927. He preceded her in death. She later was married to John Drebes in December 1950. He died in 1961.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Joyce J. Wohlgemuth, Davis, Ca¬lif., Mrs. Dorothy Basel, Netawaka, and Mrs. Beulah Meade, 403 S.E. Mar¬ket, Topeka; a son, Melvin Eugene Jorgenson, Delia; a sister, Mrs. Edna Meyers, Auburn, Neb.; three brothers, Lester Ramsey, Sac City, Iowa, Charles Ramsey, Wymore, Neb., and Gerald Ramsey, Nashville, Tenn.; 15 grand-children; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery.



Drebes
Nina Alice Drebes, 73, passed away Friday, March 27, at the Holton Hospital. She was born May 19, 1907, the daughter of William and Lillian Ramsey at Glen Elder.
She married Hans J. Jorgen¬son on July 2, 1927. This
union produced five children: Melva Jorgenson of Delia; Joyce Wohlgemuth of Davis, California; Dorothy Basel of Netawaka; Beulah Meade of Topeka; and Terry Jorgenson, who died in 1949.
Hans preceded her in death.
She married John Drebes on December 18, 1952, who pre¬ceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, three daughters, 15 grandchil¬dren and 20 great-grandchil¬dren; one sister, Mrs. Edna Myers, Auburn, Nebraska; three brothers, Lester Ramsey, Sac City, Iowa; Charles Ram¬sey, Wymore, Nebraska; and Gerald Ramsey, Nashville, Tennessee.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and grand¬mother.
Services were at Mercer Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, March 30, with in¬terment at the Holton Ceme¬tery.
Pallbearers were her grand¬sons John D- and Frank Meade; Dan Jorgenson; and Dale, John and Robert Basel.
