Obituary- Falkenstein, Letha

Mrs. Letha L. Falkenstein
MESQUITE, Texas — Mrs. Letha Lasswell Falkenstein, 92, Mesquite, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 1989, at a Mesquite, Texas, convalescent center.
She was born July 13, 1896, at Rossville, the daughter of Marion and Alice Franklin Lasswell. She moved to Topeka in 1921 and had been a resident of Texas the past 20 years.
Mrs. Falkenstein was a member of Central Congregational Church in Topeka.
She was married to Dwight O. Falkenstein March 31, 1967. He died Jan. 11, 1983.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Jane Staehline, Naples, Fla.; a stepson, Phil Fal¬kenstein, Dallas; a sister, Lucy Roush, Topeka; and a brother, Homer Lasswell, Winchester, Tenn.
Mrs. Falkenstein was cremated. A private inurnment service will be in Rossville Cemetery at a later date. Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas is in charge of arrangements. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of Kansas arrangements.
