Obituary- Dodge, Claude and Dodge, Flossie 2
Claude F. Dodge
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Delia Presbyterian Church for Claude F. Dodge, 87, Rossville, who died Friday in a Topeka hospital.
He was born May 1, 1881, in Concordia, and had lived in the Delia and Rossville communities for many years, working as a farmer and carpenter.
He was a member of the Delia Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a son, Leonard Dodge, Delia; a brother, Stanley Dodge, Concordia; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Barlene, Concordia, and Mrs. Sophia Westrick, Belleville; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Delia Cemetery, Delia. Mr. Dodge will lie in state at the Parker-Price Mortuary until 9 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Delia Presbyterian Church.
Dodge
Flossie M. Dodge, 80, Topeka, died July 5 at her home.
She was born April 15, 1898, and lived in the Rossville-Topeka community since 1930.
She was a switchboard operator at the Jayhawk Hotel and later at city hall before her retirement in 1970. She was a member of the Methodist church, PBX Club and Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by a son, Leonard Dodge, Delia; A brother Dan E. McMullen, St. Francis; three sisters, Mrs. Millie Ingemels, St. Francis, and Mrs. Mabel Culver, both of Kansas City; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services are pending at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be at Delia Cemetery.
