Obituary- Gilland, Fern

Fern Gilliland [sic Gilland]

Fern Elizabeth Yocum Gilland, 77, Topeka, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 1995, at her home.

She was born June 22, 1918, in Evanston, Wyo., the daughter of Claude W. and Ada May Heslet Yocum. She was a stocker in a warehouse and also was a bartender before she retired.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.

A daughter, Ethel May DeGraff, Topeka, survives.

Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Rossville Cemetery in Rossville, Mrs. Gilland will lie in state from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Parker-Price Mortuary.
