Jane Gordon
Jane Emily Gordon, 68, Topeka, died Wednesday, January 23, 2002, at the Baldwin Care Center, Baldwin City.

She was born February 4, 1933 in Wamego, the daughter of Emil F. and Josephine Mayer Brunkow. She lived in Topeka since 1980.

She grew up in the Wamego community and was graduated from Wamego High School in 1951. She had worked for the State of Kansas for 27 1/2 years, retiring in February 1995. She had lived in Rossville from 1960 until 1980, when she moved to Topeka.

She married James D. Gordon on August 6, 1955 in Topeka. He sur-vives. A son, Ronald J. Gordon, died November 11, 1979.

Other survivors include a sister, Lucille M. DeWyke, Wamego; a brother, Cleo E. Brunkow, Wamego; several nieces and nephews.

Her service was Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Piper Funeral Chapel, Rossville. Burial was iii Rossville Cemetery.
