Obituary- Grace, John 2

Grace
John G. "Jack" Grace, 68, Topeka, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1991, at home.

Mr. Grace was a distributions and supply agent in federal civil service until 1966, when he retired. He also had worked at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1942 until 1946.

He was born June 27, 1923, in Delia, the son of Thomas and Bernadette McMullin Grace.

Mr. Grace was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Capitol Post No. 1 of the American Legion and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

He was married to Marcella Puhl on April 12, 1945, in Topeka. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Kay Hendrickson, Topeka; five sons, Joseph Grace, John Grace, Thomas Grace, Gerard Grace and Robert Grace, all of Topeka; three sisters, Bernadette Kibler, Topeka, Genevieve Matyak, Delia, and Alice Payne, Hastings, Neb.; a brother, Gerald Grace, Topeka; and 13 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was at noon Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Brennan Funeral Home, Topeka, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 1272 SW Fill- more, Topeka, 66604-1167, or Sacred Heart School, 1725 NE Seward, Topeka, 66616.
