Wilbur E. Graybeal
DELIA — Wilbur E. Graybeal, 59, Delia, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1992, at his home. Cause of death was unavailable.

Mr. Graybeal was a laborer in construction.

He served in the Army from February 1955 to February 1957 including duty in Korea, then in the Army Reserve from 1957 until January 1963.

He was born June 25, 1933, in Burlington, the son of William Earl and Helen Elmira Tipton Graybeal.

Mr. Graybeal was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Delia.

He was married to Nancy Cott Aug. 29, 1959, in Emporia. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Michael Newman, address unavailable; four sisters, Ruth Sallee, Edgerton, Mo., Lucille Doherty, Aurora, Colo., Addie Beougher, Raymond, and Yvonne Shepherd, Burlington; and three brothers, June Graybeal, Lyndon, Francis Graybeal, Bennett, Colo., and Wesley Graybeal, Denver, Colo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will be in Delia Cemetery. Mr. Graybeal will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. today.

Contributions may be made to the Wilbur Graybeal Memorial Fund to be designated later by relatives and sent in care of the funeral home.
