Obituary- Fox, Amy 2

Fox
Amy M. Fox, 26, Silver Lake, died Sunday, July 28, 1996, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Valley Falls.
Mrs. Fox was an office assistant in the Kansas Department of Human Resources.
She was born Feb. 16, 1970, at Topeka, the daughter of Ralph and Judy McCollough Lundin. She grew up in the Delia community and graduated from Rossville High School in 1988. She graduated in 1992 from Kansas State University with a degree in sociology.
Mrs. Fox as a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys, the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nations, Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority at KSU, and the Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Auxiliary at Rossville. She was a volunteer at Let’s Help, Topeka.
She married Kevin Fox on June 2, 1992, at St. Marys. He survives.
Other survivors include her parents, Ralph and Judy Lundin, St. Marys; one brother, Steve Lundin, Rossville; and one grandmother, June McCollough, Rossville.
Mass of Christian burial was at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Community Library and sent in care of the funeral home.


WRECK KILLS SILVER LAKE WOMAN – a 26-year-old Silver Lake woman died Sunday from injuries suffered in a 2-vehicle accident Sunday evening on K-4 highway two miles south of Valley Falls in Jefferson County, the Kansas Highway Patrol said.
Amy Fox was the passenger in the back seat of a vehicle traveling west on K-4 when an eastbound vehicle attempting to make a left turn struck the car on its left side, the patrol said. Fox wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
The driver of Fox’s car, Kevin Fox and two passengers, Larry Marshall and Christie Marshall, all of Silver Lake, refused treatment, the patrol said.
Amy Fox was taken to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center by Medevac MidAmerica ambulance, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other vehicle, Opal Murray, Valley Falls, wasn’t injured, the highway patrol said.
