Amy M. Fox
Amy M. Fox, 26, Silver Lake, died Sunday, July 28, 1996, at a Topeka hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident near Valley Falls. She was in the second trimester of a pregnancy and her baby did not survive.
She was born February 16, 1970, in Topeka, the daughter of Ralph and Judy McCollough Lundin. She grew up in the Delia community and graduated from Rossville High School in 1988. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology in 1992 from Kansas State University where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. She worked for the State of Kansas as an office assistant in the State Department of Human Resources.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys; a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nations; and the Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion Auxiliary at Rossville. She was active in step aerobics at the Community Center in Silver Lake.
She was married to Kevin Fox on June 6, 1992, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. He survives.
Other survivors are her parents, Ralph and Judy Lundin, St. Marys; one brother, Steve Lundin, Rossville; and her grandmother, June McCollough, Rossville.
She will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.
