Paul R. Franklin
Paul R. Franklin 68, a resident of Emmet [sic Emmett] his entire life, died Saturday March 4, of a heart ailment.

Franklin had been an insurance agent, notary public, and member of the Emmett city council.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Bessie Franklin, of the home; two sons, Jesse Franklin of Emmett, and Jaul [sic Paul] Lee Franklin of Los Angeles, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. John Maus, Mrs. Wilbur Harrison and Mrs. Frank Harrison, all of Silver Lake, and Mrs. John Lawman and Mrs. Jack Frost of Los Angeles.

Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Emmett Methodist Church with burial in St. Clere Cemetery.
