Anita Hamilton
ROSSVILLE — Anita Louise Hamilton, 41, Rossville, died late Sunday, Nov. 4 ,2001, at a Topeka hospice house. She had been ill several months.

She was born Nov. 12, 1959, in Lyons, to Gregory Lyman and Billie Clair McNelley Houston, and lived in the Topeka area since 1961. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1977. She was employed at the Payless ShoeSource distribution center in North Topeka for 15 years.

She married Ivan Luther Hamilton on May 6, 1989, in Topeka. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Joshua L. Hamilton, at home; a daughter, Alyssa N. Hamilton, at home; stepsons, Jason Hamilton, Plano, Texas, and Jamie Hamilton, Topeka; a stepdaughter, Angela M. Hamilton, Topeka; her father, Gregory Houston, Davidson, N.C.; her mother, Billie Blankenship, Fredericksburg, Texas; brothers, Greg Houston, Chesapeake Beach, Md., Bill Houston, Overland Park, and Phillip Houston, Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, lla Baker, Topeka, Susan Dunn- away, Perry, and Marilyn O'Brien, Sacramento, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 2.p.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka; Burial will be in Mayetta Cemetery in Mayetta. Mrs. Hamilton will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 8 p.m.
