Mary B. Hanrahan
ST. MARYS — Mary B. Hanrahan, 101, St. Marys, died Friday, March 3, 1995, at an Onaga hospital.
Mrs. Hanrahan was a cook for the Delia School District before she retired.
She was born May 18, 1893, in Hoyt, the daughter of Richard J. and Birdie Hoyt McCoy. She was reared in the Rossville and Delia areas and had lived in St. Marys since 1989.
Mrs. Hanrahan was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys. She was a former member of Royal Neighbors of Amer¬ica and the Altar Society at Sacred Heart Church in Delia.
She was married to Patrick F. Han¬rahan on May 24, 1911, at Delia. He died Dec. 22, 1954. She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Gertrude Hanrahan, in 1923, and Zita Allen, Sept. 18, 1987, and a son, Francis Hanrahan, in 1972.
Survivors include a daughter, Helen D. Burgett, Topeka; seven grand¬children; 22 great-grandchildren; and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be cel¬ebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Immac¬ulate Conception Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Mrs. Hanrahan will lie in state after 2 p.m. Sunday at Piper-Verschelden Fu¬neral Home in St. Marys where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday. Contri¬butions may be made to the Mary B. Hanrahan Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.
