Mary B. Hanrahan
Mary B. Hanrahan, 101, St. Marys, died at the Community Hospital, Onaga, Friday, March 3, 1995.
She was born May 18, 1893, in Hoyt, the daughter of Richard J. and Birdie Hoyt McCoy.
She married Patrick F. Han¬rahan May 24, 1911, at Delia. He died December 22, 1954. She was also preceed in death by two daughters, Gertrude Hanrahan in 1923, and Zita I Allen, September 18, 1987, and a son, Francis Hanrahan in 1972.
Mrs. Hanrahan was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys. She was a past member of the Royal Neighbors of America, and a past member of the Altar Society at Sacred Heart Church in Delia.
She grew up in the Rossville and Delia communities and she lived at Delia until 1989, when she moved to St. Marys. She was a homemaker and later worked for the Delia School District as a cook. 1
Surviving her are one daughter, Helen Dohrman Burgett, Topeka; seven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary was recited at 7:00 Sunday evening at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 Monday morning at the Immac¬ulate Conception Church. Interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.
