Mabel Hards
Mabel Hards, 89, Delia, died Saturday, March 20, 1993, at her daughter’s home in Delia.
She was born September 23, 1903, in Mayetta, the daughter of Otto and Beatrice Wyatt Jacobson. She spent most of her life in the Delia community.
Mrs. Hards was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia.
She was married to John W. Hards April 15, 1925, in Holton. He died February 4, 1965.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Kerwin, Delia; two sisters, Pearl Cooper, Holton, and Elsie Houch, Delia; a brother, Jess Jacobson, Holton.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday (today) at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys. Burial was in Mayetta Cemetery.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Monday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2525 Rochester Road, Topeka, 66618.
