Obituary- Gee, Harold

Harold M. Gee
Marysville- Harold M. Gee, 80, Summerfield, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1997, at a Summerfield nursing home.

Mr. Gee was a farmer and stockman north of Home City. He also served in the Army in the European Theatre during World War II.

He was born Aug. 2, 1917, near Vermillion, the son of Fred A. Gee and Ellen Seip. He moved to Marysville from his farm in 1983.

Mr. Gee was a member of Blue Valley Bible Church in Marysville.

He was married to Edna McKee on Sept. 8, 1942, in Formosa. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Gee, Axtell, and Kristyn Hain, Marysville; four sons, Stephen Gee, Rossville, Gregory Gee, Summerfield. Stuart Gee, Colby, and Michael Gee, Home City; a brother, Floyd Gee, Silver Lake; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kinsley Mortuary Chapel in Marysville. Burial will be at the Marysville City Cemetery. Mr. Gee will lie in state from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and prior to the service Saturday at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made either to Blue Valley Bible Church or the Good Shepherd Care Home in Summerfield and sent in care of the mortuary.
