Mrs. Bessie D. Baird
ROSSVILLE — Mrs. Bessie Divine Baird, 90, Rossville, died Tuesday at a St. Marys nursing home where she had lived for 13 years.
She was born Nov. 5, 1890, at Pitts¬burg, and lived at Rossville since 1918.
Mrs. Baird owned and operated Di¬vine’s Cafe, Rossville, for 35 years. She retired Jan. 1, 1957.
She was a member of Rossville Unit¬ed Methodist Church and Royal Neigh¬bors of America.
She married Harvey Divine who preceded her in death. She later mar¬ried Floyd Baird in 1953. He died in 1964.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vivian M. Turner, Rossville; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thurs¬day at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will be in Rossville Cem¬etery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rossville United Methodist Church, Rossville, 66533.
