Obituary- Hastings, Carrie

Mrs. Dewey Countryman and daughter Alice attended the funeral of Mrs. John Hastings in Topeka, Tuesday.

L.A. Gilbert and son Walton and nephew, Jess Gatewood of McCracken, Kansas, stopped here Tuesday for a short visit with the [Dewey] Countryman family. They were called to Topeka by the death of Mr. Gilbert's sister. [Carrie Hastings]
