Obituary- Hause, Violet

Violet Hause
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Parker-Price Mortuary for Violet Arlene Hause, 73, Topeka. She died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999, at a Topeka nursing home.

Mrs. Hause worked at Seymour’s Foods for five years and later for Modern Office Methods for seven years. She retired in 1987.

She was born July 8, 1926, in Topeka, the daughter of Claude F. and Pearl Mildred Hall Neeley. She lived in Topeka, Silver Lake, again in Topeka and then in Rossville before she moved back to Topeka in 1980.

She married Glenn E. Hause on Feb. 14, 1955, in Lawrence. He survives.

Other survivors include five daughters, Marilyn J. Holloway, Glenda S. Backerman, Wanda A. Knight, Lori E. McCann and Julie A. Grippo, all of Topeka; two sons, Marvin J. Wilson, Lebanon, Mo., and Richard E. Wilson, Topeka; a sister, Bonnie M. Dolsky, Hyder, Alaska; three brothers, Kenneth D. Neeley, Hastings, Neb., Lee Neeley, Topeka, and Melvin E. Neeley, Pensacola, Fla.; 19 grand-children; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Kansas Affiliate Inc., 3210 E. Douglas, Wichita, 67208-3309, or to the American Heart Association, 5375 S.W. 7th, Topeka, 66606.



Violet A. Hause
Violet Arlene Hause, 73, Topeka, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999, at a Topeka nursing home.

She was born July 8, 1926, at Topeka, the daughter of Claude F. and Pearl Mildred Hall Neeley.

She had lived in Topeka, Silver Lake, and Rossville before returning to Topeka in 1980.

She had worked at Seymour’s Foods for five years and at Modem Office Methods for seven years before retiring in 1987.

She married Glenn E. Hause on February 14, 1955 at Lawrence. He survives.

Other survivors are five daughters, Marilyn, J. Holloway, Glenda S. Backerman, Wanda A. Knight, Lori E. McCann, and Julie A. Grippo, all of Topeka; two sons, Marvin J. Wilson, Lebanon, MO, and Richard E. Wilson, Topeka; a sister, Bonnie M. Dolsky, Hyder, AK; three brothers, Kenneth D. Neeley, Hastings, NE, Lee Neeley, Topeka, and Melvin E. Neeley, Pensacola, FL; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Her service was Friday at the Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
