Obituary- Hayes, William

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hayes and children returned Sunday from Miltonvale, Kansas, after attending the funeral of his father, who passed away Wednesday of last week.


Mr. and Mrs. B.D. Hayes were called to Miltonvale, Kansas, last Saturday upon news of the serious illness of his father, Mr. W.J. Hayes. Word came yesterday afternoon that Mr. Hayes passed away Wednesday morning about 1 o'clock. The deceased gentleman who was born November 21, 1844, was 83 years, 4 months and 13 days old at the date of his death. He was a veteran of the Civil war. The funeral was held at 10 o'clock today. He is survived by three sons and one daughter, M.T. Hayes, O.H. Hayes, B.D. Hayes, Mrs. W.T. Lowery, and fifteen grandchildren.
