Hladky

Margaret A. Hladky, 89, Topeka, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1993, at a Topeka nursing home.

Miss Hladky worked on the family farm in the Delia community many years. She also worked at W.T. Grants and Tennpenny cafes before she retired.

She was born Oct. 14, 1904, in Delia, the daughter of Charles and Anna Macha Hladky.

Miss Hladky was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Survivors include four sisters, Elsie Hladky, Mildred Becher and Betty Kaberline, all of Topeka, and Maxine Grimes, Norfolk, Va.; and three brothers, Loren Hladky and Donald Hladky, both of Topeka, and Lee Ladd (Hladky), Elyria, Ohio.

Mass of Christian burial was at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2nd and Van Buren, Topeka, 66604.
