WILLIAM HLADKY
William Alfred Hladky, 70, Route 1, Emmett, was found dead Tuesday morning, February 24, 1976 in his pickup truck which had run off a Jackson County road about 2V2 miles east of St. Clere. An autopsy showed he had an apparent heart attack.

He was born September 8, 1905 at Delia, the son of Edward E. and Albine Macha Hladky, and spent most of his life in the Delia and Emmett communities.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church at Emmett.

Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Christina Luttig, Arrington, Mrs. Helen Luttig, Belvue, Mrs. Ines DeVader, Holton, and Mrs. Bernice Morgan, Port Angeles, Wash.; and seven brothers, Joe E. Hladky, Garnett Hladky, and Howard Hladky, all of Emmett, Edward E. Hladky, St. Marys, Erman Hladky, Gillette, Wyo., Leonard Hladky, Corning, Calif., and Floyd Hladky, Soldier.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, with burial to follow in St. Clere Cemetery.
