Hobart

Louis J. Hobart, 74, of Delia, died Wednesday at his home. He was a retired farmer.

He was born May 29, 1894, at Pocahontas, Iowa. Since 1917 he had spent most of his life in the Delia community.

Mr. Hobart was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church at Delia, and Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion at Rossville. He was a township trustee many years for Washington township.

He was married to Evelyn Moore May 25, 1921 at Delia.

Survivors include his widow, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Macha, Rossville, and Mrs. Joan Hofman, Camp Springs, Maryland; a son, Donald A. Hobart, Memphis, Tennessee; a brother, Edward Hobart, Las Vegas, Nevada; 13 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Services were Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic church, Delia.

Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys.

NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT OF ADMINISTRATORS Notice is hereby given to the creditors, heirs and legatees of LOUIS J. HOBART, deceased, and all others concerned, that on the 25th day of June, 1969, the undersigned were by the probate court of Jackson County, Kansas duly appointed and qualified as co-administrators of the estate of LOUIS J. HOBART, deceased, late of Jackson County, Kansas.

All parties interested in said estate will take notice and govern themselves accordingly. All creditors are notified to exhibit their demands against said estate within nine months from the date of first publication of this notice as provided by law, and if their demands are not thus exhibited they shall be forever barred.
