MRS. RAY HOGAN
Mrs. Ray Hogan, 54, passed away at her home in Rossville, Monday night following a lingering illness of several years.

Mrs. Hogan was born and reared at Beloit, Kans.,

She is survived by her husband Ray Hogan and four children; Mrs. Lealah Bender and Homer Hogan of DeSoto, Kans., Louis and Raymond of the home address.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Lealah Bender at DeSoto. Burial at Montecello cemetery.

Malde Irene Thompson, was born
August 23, 1884, at Beloit, Kans. and passed away Oct. 31st, at her home in Rossville, at the age of 54 years 2 months and 9 days.

On April 12, 1905 she was married to Ray Hogan of Beloit, and to this union four children were born. Two daughters and two sons. She was a most devoted wife and mother, always ready to share the troubles of others and to give all for the welfare of her family.

She had been in ill health for four years and while knowing her days were numbered, made plans for the welfare and happiness of all, the family even up to a few hours before her departure.

She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed by all her friends and loved ones.

While a small child she joined the Methodist church at Beloit, and later transferred her membership to the community church of Olathe, Kans., where she was still a member.

Those who mourn her departure are her husband, Ray Hogan, Lois Mae and Raymond of the home. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Hogan, Pauline and Kenneth of Olathe; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bender, Frances, Phyllis and Gertrude of DeSoto; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thompson, and sister, Mrs. Harry Nay; one brother, Guy Thompson all of Beloit, and many other relatives and friends.
