Obituary- Holcomb, Dennis 2

Holcomb
Dennis Charles Holcomb, 40, Topeka, died Monday, March 25, 1996 at a Topeka hospital from complications of Crohn’s disease.

Dennis was born September o, 1955 at Holton the son of Otis Carl and Arlene M. Thompson Holcomb.

He lived in Topeka most of his life. He was graduated from Rossville High School and Washburn University. Dennis was a member of the Ichabod Club of Washburn University. He had worked at Macy’s and Dillard’s for many years.

Survivors include his mother, Arlene M. Looker; two brothers, Don Holcomb, Topeka and Daniel Holcomb, Littleton, Colo, and his grandmother, Eleanor Thompson, Rossville.

Services will be at 9 a.m., Thursday at West Side Christian Church, Topeka. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. Mr. Holcomb will lie in state after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Parker-Price Mortuary where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortu-ary.

Dennis C. Holcomb
Dennis Charles Holcomb, 40, Topeka, died Monday, March 25, 1996, at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka, following complications of Crohn’s Disease.

He was born September 6, 1955 at Holton, the son of Otis Carl and Arlene M. Thompson Holcomb. He lived in Topeka most of his life.

He was graduated from Rossville High School and Washburn University, where he was a member of the Ichabod Club. He had worked at Macy’s and Dillard’s for many years.

Surviving him arc his mother, Arlene M. Looker, Topeka; two brothers, Don Holcomb, Topeka, and Daniel Holcomb, Littleton, Colo.; and his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Thompson, Rossville Valley Manor.

He will lie in state after 8 a.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. His service is at 9 a.m. Thursday at West Side Christian Church, Topeka. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
